Merry Belated Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Hello All!! Hope you all had a great Christmas and an amazing new year... All the best for 2012 :)

It seems like every time i get fed up of uni work i end up writing on here but at least after jotting down some stuff on here i am more motivated and get on with the work. :) As you all guessed I'm stuck with more uni work, its the Christmas holidays and iv not done much over the holidays in fact i haven't done any uni work... But the days have gone so fast and now I'm dreading to go bk to uni...aiii...

Anyway i hope the next few months will zoom by quick and everything will be over :) only 6 months to go. So cool how its my dad who reminds me all the time. :) Loads of people say i should be loving uni bcz its the last yr and you will miss it when your done... i don't think so!! probably the working life is more for me :) i cant wait to finish and just get a full time job even if its just Asda or something retail... i want to be the hard worker Rachael with 3 jobs at once agen :) woooo moneyyyy!! haha i think I'm only loving that really not the working :p

New Year resolution:
-Work hard at Uni
-Pass Uni and graduate!!
-Obviously get on to, at least the Local show...
-Save up for a holiday in the summer
-Claim my $6000 from hk :D
-Find a job
-Spend more time with the Family
-Become 50Kg

lets hope i will stick to it :)

Oh Oh what did everyone get for Christmas?... anything good?... wasnt ment to receive presents because of grandad but i still got some small things, from tom (some jeggings grey pair and beige pair from Vera Moda) a necklace from toms big sis, a disney stre cushion from his big little sis and a Miss Sixty dress from Po...
In return i got tom some CK underwear (typical gf thing :p) and a polo shirt from H & M, his big sis some chocolate ( i knew his big little sis got me a present so wanted to get her something but then thought i jus get his big sis something too and didnt realise she got me something...woops) for his big little sis and his brother-in-law some slippers. Then Po i got her the Shu uemura eyelash curlers. I tricked her first saying i wanted to get them but not sure if they are good or not to see what she thinks and if she had some already :p

hehe anyway will get back to work and update after everything is all done or mayb i want to rant more in a few days :)

Growing up.

Recently i realise that alot has changed everyone is growing up, they are growing up so fast i cant keep up with them. Im 22 now cant believe it im so old and im still a uni student >.<. Everyone has moved on and started a real life since just 3 years ago, 3 years to me doesnt even seem a long time but alot has happened in these 3 years...so i guess it is a long time. I watched my close ones, not even just close ones but people i know or was a close ones move on and now hardly even talk. They change from just a ordinary girl to a woman i feel like im not growing up i feel like im still a girl, infact i am still a girl. Even those who are younger than me are growing faster than me, growing to start a real life of there own or a family of there own.

My little cousin has had a Baby girl i still cant beleive it, im a auntie, i dont feel like an auntie >.< just more like a baby sister to me. I cant wait till uni is over, then i can get my own life sorted, to do what i want to do, to be honest i dont know what i want to do. I want to go out and find a job but not in design its too stressful, but then what can i do if i dont do design, something to do with fashion... i dont know.

when i was younger just before i put myself into design i couldnt decide weather to go into hair and make up or clothing design. it was mainly styling what i wanted to do but then i couldnt accept that going into styling means no more making clothes. So i ended up with design, ive been searching for models to do some shoots of my designs and build my portfolio, i realise i want to do styling but styling as in make up artist, hair styling, photography everything. i wish i could study them all.

just getting out some random thoughts...

wish the time could just stop at least for a week maybe...

Its been a month already, its been over a month since grandad left us and since i last posted... alot has happend... family, uni, money, life... every moment that passes by seems to be precious to me at the moment. After loosing someone in the family loads have gone through my mind, i wish i had more time spent with him. I feel like taking a break from uni just to stay at home and even just to do nothing be a bum...

But theres still that other side of me that tells myself to complete the last 6 months... i will do this, i wont give up no matter what but i just wish i could just have one week break with nothing to bother or stress about.

i just handed my first module in, i handed it in late because the deadline was the day after my grandads funeral and i just cuouldnt make it on time. But luckily my university allowed me to do so.

Anyway im on my next module now and its linked with my FMP, the concept and the development of my final collection... im struggeling i cant think of a good concept or idea, i have spent 2 weeks and still nothing seems to be interesting. ughhh >.<

Yesterday i attended my best friends graduation Poling Wan I'm so proud of her, she finally made it, so so happy :) met her whole family for the first time and they are just cute ;p

Ready to bang out final year!!

So I finally got my hands on a real mannequin! I was so excited about it when i decided to get one and finally i got it :) cost a lot but its going to last me forever and will be my all time best friend :p haha i got a size 12 because this is the standard and average size in the industry, easier to adjust garment smaller or bigger. Its the size that sits in the middle of size line. :) and its what i work on at uni...

Any way I also made myself a huge calendar to have a final year schedule. Already been so busy its just unbelievable... i dont even get why im so busy either >.< havnt even had chance to uploud my holiday pictures from ibiza and ive been back for like 3 weeks now...woah gone so fast actually... nearly a month >.< where has it gone!!!

My fav product at the moment!! it is absolutley amazing... the mask is really sticky when applying it on, when it dries completley you peel it of, can be a little painful but the result is wonderful!!! i only put it around my nose and chin area and after using this it feels so smooth that i end up keep touching my nose because of how much this product has really worked...

Was doing a random shopping spree last week realise i hardly buy things to treat myself. wanted a nude/pale colour... not really warn this out yet but i love the colour and keep puttin it on at home lol the smell is really nice too :)



Bobbi brown eye shadow brush from Selfridges (Manchester) RRP £23
This one put a hole in my pocket!!... lol i was actually looking at the eye shadow brushes at MAC then my friend was trying out a product at Bobbi brown and I ended up going over to check it out, saw that the girl who was serving my friend had eye shadow brushes. I asked if they sell them and she said yes and explained that it is quite special because when changing eye shadow colour to blend the colours you can tap away the 1st eye shadow used and then use a different colour without it mixing the colours together on the brush before applying it. i just answered ill have one... my friend asked how much is it i said dunno then wen the girl asked me to pay i ws like ok bcz it is Bobbi brown... then my frend was in shock i realise after haha £23 for a brush...but my friend has a set of MAC brushes and she says Bobbie brown are better anyway...lol haha something to treat myself :) friend shocked about me buying a make up brush for £23 and then she ended up buying a marc by marc jacobs handbag...we went past stand and she fell in love with it just like that...

Last but not least Shu uemura eyelash curlers... i been wanting these in a while.. finally got my hands on them... got told by a few ppl this baby is amazing on us asian eyelashes that never stays up. and its true i regret not getting these earlier!! alot earlier.. i always thought it was the mascara. me and my sister have been investing on so many different mascara brands that can hold the lash up but really all i needed was these beautys >.< i know wht to get for the little sisters bday now :p :)

uni time...

First day back at Uni today...and ive been doing all nighters already >.< well holiday to Ibiza was amazing!! apart from tom hardly went in the water leaving me playing in the water on my own and he just sat and sun bathed...so boring...haha well i tanned!! tanned all over haha have like 4 tan lines on my hips from the different style bikini bottoms i wore... hmmm i will post some photos up from the holiday later on this week because tom still has them...

I didnt manage to finish my summer project the sketchbook only had about 27 pages in and just took it to uni i was soooo nervous!! my heart was pumping so fast i strted walking around the house, doing star jumps and spinning around in circles...haha dunno why was really panicking...In the end my tutor ended up talking for hours and totally forgot about presenting the sketchbook everyone was so happy!! :) He was talking about 3rd year and threatening us how tough its going to get so now im even more crapping it!...

well hopefully get more work done over the weekend and more ready to go back on monday...only in today this week to enrol then start properly next week... i still havnt slept yet and im planning not to untill later in the niter so i dont have a messed up sleeping pattern like usual :) thort i just do a short blog entry so im here dropping by :) going to go put a mask on n relax now blog laterz :)
